Shopaholics

Time to shop! McCall has a fabulous selection of shops, boutiques and art galleries to keep your arms full of purchases. Here are some of our favorite places:

Start by finding a hidden gem at a consignment store. Dandy Lion Consignment carries a large variety of gently used, quality fashion items, accessories and adult and children’s clothing.

If you are after something that sparkles, McCall Jewelry Company is a must-stop. They carry unique pieces from both national and local artisans and you can also customize your own gems and jewels into new pieces with their innovative design system. And don’t pass up the opportunity to try on the stunning “Margarita Ring” designed especially for McCall Jewelry Company by Philip Zahm.

Next on our list is Bella Kitchen, where you can find everything the gourmet cook could ever need. Unique dishware designs, linens, kitchen tools, gadgets, utensils, glassware and more pack the showroom of this cozy boutique. Head upstairs to Second Story Consignment and forage through the small furniture, home décor pieces and home accessories. From Bella Kitchen, walk 1 block East to Razzle Dazzle which  offers fun shopping “within splashing distance of Payette Lake.” Candles, cards, home décor, local art work, vintage signs, bath and body products, gourmet foods and unique gifts abound in this quaint shop.

If art galleries are what you are looking for, you’re in luck! Artizen carries an unusual collection of clothing, jewelry, garden items, paintings, art work and beautiful furniture. Gallery Fifty Five is an Artist owned gallery where local artists share their exquisite creations. Gallery 616 proudly displays local artistic creations including jewelry, paintings, clothing, wood work and more.

For a change of pace, go to Granite Mountain Gallery, a nature lovers’ candy store! One of the most diverse collections in the United States, imported from 50 countries around the world, here you will find natural rock lights, fossils, minerals, marble, granite, semi-precious gems, onyx and more. Too many to mention, you need to check this out for yourself.

For lovers of thrift stores, McPAWS Thrift Shop has a little bit of everything and benefits the local area Animal Shelter. And across the street is the St. Luke’s McCall Auxiliary Thrift Store which benefits St. Luke’s McCall Hospital. Happy hunting!
