Events
McCall is host to many lively events throughout the year. Imagine the beautiful sight of a flotilla of pleasure boats, lights shimmering, bobbing on Payette Lake beneath the 4th of July fireworks display. If you miss those summer pyrotechnics, don’t fret – there are plenty more, plus dozens of amazing hand-carved snow sculptures, during winter carnival. McCall Winter Carnival 2009 starts Friday January 30th and runs through Sunday February 8th.
Aside from those major annual events, McCall won’t let you succumb to boredom any time soon – from snowmobile fun runs and a sailboat regatta to regular live music, from vintage car shows to the Payette Lake Art and Crafts Fair, you’ll find yourself amply entertained here in paradise.
