Enjoy a concert of “chamber jazz” featuring saxophonist Greg Yasinitsky, a member of the McCall Summerfest Orchestra and Director of the School of Music at Washington State University. The program will include selections by some of America’s greatest songwriters including George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern and Duke Ellington. Greg has performed around the world including appearances with Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Lou Rawls, Bernadette Peters, Maureen McGovern and so many more. 
Greg will perform with pianist Brian Ward, Coordinator of Jazz Studies at WSU. Brian hails from Portland, Oregon and has performed with the Oregon Symphony, Bobby Torres, Shirley Nanette, Curtis Salgado and Obo Addy. “City of Roses,” one of the arrangements Brian helped create for Esperanza Spalding’s CD Radio Music Society, won a 2011 Grammy Award. 
Audiences will be captivated by the sounds of Greg and Brian as they interpret the classic repertoire of jazz.
